Costume & Clothing Design
Concepts for the stage and garments made to wear
Costume concepts for dance companies and productions, and original clothing design — from first sketch to a finished look that moves the way the piece needs it to.

The story
Having trained and performed as a dancer, I design with movement in mind: how fabric lifts in a jump, what stays put through a lift, how a silhouette reads from the back row. I have created costume concepts for dance companies and designed clothing of my own, including upcycled pieces built from vintage textiles. A commission can be concept drawings only, or carried through to a finished garment.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell me about the piece
Share the production or occasion, the music or story, number of dancers or wearers, any colour palette and your deadline.
- Step 2
Brief and quote
We agree what is included — concept drawings only, or through to finished garments — along with the price and schedule in writing. A 50% deposit reserves the slot.
- Step 3
Concept drawings
You receive illustrated concepts with fabric and colour notes. Two rounds of revision are included.
- Step 4
Make and fit
If garments are part of the commission, they are made from the approved concept, with fittings arranged as needed. Balance due before final delivery.
